Resistances help, wth happened?

I just finished normal yesterday and started Nightmare this morning. I looked at my stats and all my resistances are -40. I took of all my gear to see if that maybe be the cause but it had no effect. Does anyone know why this happened?

ok wasn't sure if it was a bug or something, if it just happens I can deal with it.

Im taking a guess, that you just started to play D2?
Heres the breakdown of resistance for each difficulty Norm=0 Nightmare= -40 Hell= -100

Depends if you got you anya reward +10 all resistances
