Extremely Annoying Virus...

Hey I have a trojan that will constantly close Norton if I try to run a full system scan, it disables auto-protect, won't let me run my firewall, and what-not. Anyone have any ideas? I'm trying to get AVG, but having trouble recieving the link and key in my e-mail... Are there any free programs that might pick up this kind of thing?

Ummm.....Mcafee. Try reinstalling windows. Im pretty sure you wanna do that with all the crap on your computer anyways. lol. Or goto http://www.trendmicro.com and do a scan.

I had a similer virus that would infect all firewalls and anti virus programs and currupted windows so i couldent uninstall anything i ended up formating my computer

i had a virus similar to that. It would kill norton auto-protect and email scanning but it didnt stop mcaffee fire wall. Well, check ur computer for this file C:\windows\system32\services.exe
thats what mine was and deleting that file and removing it later from the startup list stopped it.
