Rerolling

I have a couple questions about rerolling. Does the kind of perfect gem you use affect the outcome of the new charm? Also, if you reroll with a large charm, will the new charm always be a large charm, or is it possible to get a small or grand one? Finally, how do you know if the charm you have is a high level?

#2 the charm you roll stays the same ie. sc =sc lg=lg gc=gc
#3 tthe best charms to roll are from the pis super unique 's (mlvl 88)

1. The best charms are NOT determined by the type of monster it drops from
2. It IS in fact, affected by the LEVEL of the monster dropped
3. High level does not always equal best rerolling charms
4. If you want BEST chance to reroll a +skill charm, farm for charms on the great marsh on nm act 3
5. +Skill charms can be rerolled as low as the Ilvl 50, as written on Arreat Summit.

if a gc with ilvl 50 is rolled, would it have the best chance for +1 to skills since its such a low ilvl that it wouldnt have a large range of attributes to decide from
