Way To Get Rid Of Realm Down --> Under 30 SECONDS!

This may look like a long process, and you may think , "WTF my R-D will be over before I finish this." Wrong. Because in reality, this takes about 20 seconds to do. The first time you do it it will take longer because you have to read this, but once you know what to do, it takes about 15-20 seconds to complete.


Get out of Diablo.

Hit: Start/Run

In run box type : CMD

Then in CMD Prompt type: ipconfig/release

Exit out of Cmd Prompt.

Hit: Control Panel -> Then Select "Change to Classic View" On the left hand side, if you are not in it already. (Win Xp)

Then Select: Network Connections (In Win Xp this is not a sub folder its a main folder)

When in there right click your connection and select, "Properties." (Example: Mine is "Local Area Connection 1."

In the Box where it says, " The Connection uses the following items" -> Double Click, Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

Now On the general tab, hit "Use the following ip address."

In Ip address type 10.1.1.1 -> and just click on subnet mask box and it will go to 255.0.0.0 (Leave that) and leave the default Gateway As it is (Blank)

Now Hit "Use The Following DNS Server Addresses" but just leave those boxes blank.

Hit , "OK" on both boxes.

Now right click on your network connection again and hit properties and double click Internet protocol (TCP/IP)

Now check: "Obtain The Following Ip Address Automatically. And Also check, Obtain Following DNS Server address automatically.

This just changed your IP Address and now any ban you had is gona, NO MORE REALM DOWN!

Yea, I have Cable. It will work for any ip address that is non-static, meaning that you get an ip automatically, and not provided with one by your ISP.

;D It works believe me, cuz i had in-town pickit, and i went into a free game and it picked up all the items, and my inv got full and it kept trying to pick up the items and i got a R-d for about half an hour, then i tried it again and another R-d for half an hour, i was f-ing pissed, so i found this way to change your ip and undo the ban

No, Unable to connect to B-net is an issue with your ability to connect to the internet. Heh. If you have a 169.xx.xx.xx ip address (xx stand for other numbers, --> any ip that starts with 169 means your computer isnt recieveing an ip address and the 169. ip address is one given by WinXp when your computer cannot locate one.) that is a dead ip, meaning your computer is not recieveing an ip from your modem.

Also, this method doesnt work for dial up or Static Ips.

Also, if your computer can connect to the internet, but it wont let you connect to b-net, this method should work. Try doing it over.

How come I got an 'Unable to connect to Battlenet' error convienently right after using my p.bot for the first time. And right after it went away I think my acct was deleted... (And no, my ip is fine 192.something, whatever my router is)
