Help Me with Realm Down Plz

OKay ive been to every single r/d thread on d2sector and blizzhackers they all have the same problems but today i came across this thread the guy saying to get ride of r/d u have to start>run> type in cmd then in the dos menu type ipconfig/release then esc it and goto local area connection (lan) and right click on properties and then click internet proticole and hit 'Use the following ip address" and type 10. 1. 1. 1. so i did then it said to hit ok and then get back on properties/internet proticale and click on "Obtain an ip address automaticly" so i do it.


He said i was done from there and other people were saying "thanks it worked great" and stuff but it didnt not work 4 me? i tried 5 times.

I am currently using Cox cable with a router i have 4 computers hooked up on it im thinking that the router is automaticly repalcing it back to normal becuse the others are diffrent.

Can somebody plz help me im desprite.

Your certain properties might make that option inaccesble, look around in your cmd line

ipconfig help

and see what you can do from there.

maybe its bootlegit i had r.d down since the morning still have it help me too...

Could the fact that he is using a router interfere with the ip release/renew since it gives you a seperate ip?
