Failed to join game

Hi...

I've got a problem with a laptop I'm trying to get to run Diablo II:LOD.

I've installed the game and everything went smothe.

Now when I try to create or join a game on battle.net I get failed to join game evertime.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

I've disabled all firewalls and Antivirus programs and still no luck.

Computer is a: AMD Mobile 2500+, 1024 Mb Ram, RADEON 9500 IGP, 80 Gb Hdd, Windows XP Home

Using: DirectX 9.0a
Gfx driver: 6.14

It's using the same internet connection as my desktop which does not have any problems running the game...

try reinstalling it if it doesnt work again then there is some certain file corupt on the cd (means its destroyed)

I've reinstalled the game 3 times and used different cd's every time... Still no luck Blizzard doesent know jack either

well if youve reinstalled and disabled firewalls...its prob something wrong with ur connection, right click on the lil internet connection thing in the bottom right corner and click repair its sets all ur configures ur net to its original settings, if that doesn't work call ur net comp.

Don't think the firewall would be the problem, if it was he wouldn't be able to connect to bnet in the 1st place...

i have the smae prob in openbattle.net sux i know i have a corrupt file and it says theres a file thats corrupt reinstall or something i did it didn't do jack i got a new d2/lod and stuff same prob so this is gay!!!

I know I had the same prob on open (but only my uber-hacked chars didn't work but my legits did) I fixed the problem by drop kicking my computer a couple times...

Thats not true. A firewall prevented me from creating games but I can still connect. I dont know if its your problem but to join games bnet uses a certain port (I forgot which) run a google
