I just started playing like 3 days ago, I've already learned Black No 1 by Type O Negative, and I was fishing for suggestions on what else I should learn because we all know I wont just be jumpin into the Maiden lol. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm not too sure how hard it is, but my old roomate played bass and wasn't very good, but he could play Tool's 46 & 2 (my favorite Tool song btw)

you just just pick out a song such as a classic rock song that has a repetitive rift that sounds like it's pretty easy (i used some acdc even though i hate them)
try to learn how to play that by expirimenting with the strings and fingers and you'll memorize what those notes sound like
keep doing that with a bunch of songs and you should learn good
then afterwards learn to read notes
that's how i started and i've gotten pretty good
