i have never botted. . it seems more fun if you find the stuff by yourself.. makes you feel like you accomplished something.. D2 will live forever.. or until d3

That depends on wether hacks and etc will get more advanced. At the rate battle.net is going they will never be able to catch up to more advanced programmers who can find lots of loopholes, and etc

I only playing d2 on a different server,Battlenet sucks with the realm downs atm.Oct 29th Guild Wars is off beta and in the stores,so my D2 and D1 will be collecting alot of dust after the 29th.
D2 will never die though,peeps still play D1 and hellfire.

I think the new runewords are just as bad as the hacked items from 09, worse even, remember the ITHs? well at least those could be deleted for being nonlegit....

Your right.
They should delete every unique, rare, runeword, crafted, and in any other way special items. Everyone should have to beat the game with the gear they start out with - nothing! /sarcasim

If ur gonna jump in and act like u know wat ur talkin about dont jump in at all....the whole idea is that the new runewords are TOO powerful....just like the iths were, just scaled down a teensy bit...

true the new runes make it so everyone can teleport and have so much extra damage but they are the things people play to get.. for example one of my friends only plays because he wants the enigma.. i guess what i am saying is they are there for something for new players to strive for.. i am still waiting to see what the new runewords are going to be

Sorry for the bump but i want my word in here.
Diablo II was my first PC ONLINE GAME. I think it will stay around for a few more years. Maybe until they make a d3, rumors are crazy right now about them making a diablo iii.

D2 may be immortal but I Dont think this site is! Especially with me being the only admin... I've lost all interest and spent maybe a max of 5min at the site a week.

d2 is boring if all you do is play solo i mean you know every ****ing little detial about the game all the rocks and tree's ect.i think as long as they got bnet play d2 is here to stay.woot need d3 damnit!!
