Diablo 3 would be cool if u could make a house and stuff, and the maps didnt always change

unless the difficulty changes or if there were enough acts u could have 1 difficulty but every act got harder.

Another expansion for d2 would be nice. It could be set in a huge village under attack by the Meph's twin sister, Mephesitina. :/.

Or possibly the Assassin land.

Whether it survives or not, it's got me hooked as well. As "No Shot" put it, to only spend 50 bucks for a game and then get all that time out of it, is not to bad. Not to mention it costs "$0" to play. Long live Diablo. Would be nice if they ever came out with a three, new monsters, acts, chars classes, lvls above 99(but super hard to achieve=call them elites). You can do so much more and with everyones input over the past 3 patches it may be possible.

I think it's around until Diablo III. look at CS. Huge drop in players now that people can download Source. It'll take another plunge when Half-life 2 hits shelves too, I think.

D2 may be immortal but I Dont think this site is! Especially with me being the only admin... I've lost all interest and spent maybe a max of 5min at the site a week.

I would reccomend giving some of the other members moderator powers then, to keep things in check.

lol i hope and think d3 is gonna come out soon so i say 1-2 years and if by then d3 hasnt come out then its ****** and wont survive but true it got like 5 yrs out of me so it was worth it, right now i just really like making chars and thinking about their potential im just so poor that i can afford big item such as enig if i could id pwn cause i know i make badassed chars lol

i agree with LostTrance, but in a different aspect, i think it will be one of those games that will die a slow death, like people will stop playing, but slowly, i think it will drag on for a few more years, then it will get like Diablo....full of hacked stuff....everyone hacks....not very many people play it

edit: just checked out how many ppl were on, when i started playing like 4 years ago, there was an average of 200,000+, just check, and its down to 98,000 or so, it will definantly die in a few years

AND thats on ALL of bnet, on D2 EXP, there is like 40,000

anyone here hear of the game The Chronicles of Ridd i c k: Escape from Butcher Bay?, it came out for xbox a little while ago, and was ported to the PC and released yesterday, i'm getting it for xmas, but i've read many reviews saying its better then halo 2

Yeah I played Ridd-i-ck on xbox, its a pretty sweet game....cant say its better than halo 2, no multiplayer.....but still pretty cool

guild wars is proibably gonna drown out d2 but some loyal players still play and the people who play d2 will convert to guild wars. They need to come out with d3

but... can they really come out with d3? they alredy destryoed all the mosters... it is DIABLO 3, and we killed him over 5 years back...then they bring baal... whoa re they gonna make us kill now? the easter bunny:devilish: ? face it, as much as i love it, either blizz screwed up, or they are going to have to ruin a bunch of little kids hearts.

Guild Wars is awsome, but limited.

Hellgate is coming out this year I think (Can't be sure).
