Start with about 85%-300%(at most). As your MF goes up, magic items appear more and more. To make it a more even chance of getting a unique or set, you must have a more mild MF. After that, it's all up to your persistence in MFing.

So you are saying the optimum mf is around 80? Interesting...

About 80 MF is actually one of the most successful for finding... was for me. MF is a little bit overated (i'm not saying you don't need it). But you do need a little bit for a much higher chance

Yeah, 70-80 mf seems to be a good lvl of finding items in new patch. Last pit run I did, my friend and I had a mf= to 78 and we found some pretty nice crap.

450 is awesome. My open char has about 10,000 mf and he rarely gets uniques still...rares all the damed time tho.

I've heard that MF loops or dulls down after 400%, And sinces it's so tuff to get past that on closed Bnet, I tend to agree with it... That's the rumor and I agree with it, I've tested it on open Bnet, and it seems legit. What Pits are you talking, about? Act 1?

act one in Tamoe Highlands... and it just slows down, theres no looping. I created an MF character, he has over 36,000 MF and he gets tons of rares n shit
