Okay, so I picked up some armor today and I am deciding which I like best.
They are:
Templar's Might - 1796 Def.
Tyrael's Might - 1430 Def.
Steel Carapace - 1618 Def.
Templar's has the most base defense, but it is green (which I hate). Tyraels is blue, I can live with it. Has a lower base but is indestructible, and cannot be frozen. Also have the Carapace, it's base is up there too. Have 3 sockets in each one, no clue what to do. This will go on a level 86 necro.....
Opinions?

I am in open, I picked all of them up in a drop mod. The carapace I picked up twice, and I have found more corpsemourne's than I know what to do with. I just put them in my cube with and eld and a el and voila, 3 sockets.

ok, that helps a little more. try to get an eth steel carapace, else use the tyreals or carapace

Just picked up anoher Tyrael. By eth, do you mean the rune?

no, ethereal, they will have the repair durability mod and well over 2k def. Then with 3 sockets, either pul or ber it, if you have the drop mod where you can buy runes.

Because I have a life outside of diablo and I don't play enough to keep a chracter going............ :p
So an ethereal Carapace, i'll keep my eyes peeled. I am using the phase blade right now, if memory serves me correct there are two unique crystal swords. Is the other one the better of the two?

If your playing on open then why don't you just use a really hacked out armor instead?

tyraels is better cannot be frozen is really good attribute+its indestructable.

They probably play alone and like to play legit. It is easy to go on open and get good items w\o a sweat and it is ideal if you are playing alone because you dont have to work good to be good at all.
