on the frist post? yea he does have low post count but look who it was last editied by me i replaced the d2loader with 1 from d2sector downloads

yeah i tend not to dl files unless they were posted by d2s staff or if theyre in downloads section

update on the connection interrupted thing while using multiple cd keys: as of now to avoid your second cd key getting booted from the game the current solution is this:

copy all of the contents of your diablo2 folder to a new folder(name it whatever you want)

in your second shortcut, the one in which you will be using -mpq cdkey.mpq, just path that to your new folder. For some reason or another this allows you to play in multiple windows without getting connection interrupted. I don't know the logic behind it, (probably if b.net sees you have 2 instances of d2 running which were accessed from the same path or something...i don't know) but using this method you can run in multiple windows hope this helped someone that was having the same problem as I was!

oh ok it make sense, its just the same pathing that makes the connection error.. i thought they can now detect if ur ip is using 2 cdkeys,.. ima try this too..

edit: this method of changing the path of the second cd key doesnt work.. u will still be disconected from the game but not from bnet.. the char with the second cd key can only stay for 10-15 sec in a game.

Lol if you would have noticed...mpeck posted THE SAME EXACT FRIGGIN THING i did except he had a textfile that went with it. Even with the post up i sent the loader to about 50 other poeple through aim and believe it or not, they thanked me for it. (Amazing i didnt try to hack everyone and get there l33t gear that can only be obtained by botting for up to two weeks on your own). And yes, i put the donation thing up there so i could get some donations for R1ch...who btw is the orignal cracker and updater for the 1.11 version. I talked to him the night OF doing the post and told him i would send all of what was donated to me to him.

And finally, i have a low post count because im not the type of person who goes through every post and feels the need to restate everything thats already been said in above posts just to get my postcount up. I would rather spend the time i have playing the actual game.

I understand you people are weary of dling things, but comon, i was just trying to help everyone out.

Bolong, myself and several others are able to stay connected with no problem using multiple folders. You're sure the shortcut points to the copied loader and not the original? If it is, then I have no idea why it works for so many other people but still give problems to some.

When Im trying to start a second window I get an error.
