far far as it comes to oil the us has a 2 large sources of oil near them one is the alberta oil sands and the other is in alaska but its over a damn wildlife area which makes it useless atm
the us really need to lose it's dependance on oil

come on blood like this is a major burn to your precious US all i did was state 2 places that can help in droping the price of gas and i have been reducing the ammount of us insults but i never went on word manipulation to pull a burn unlike you and comandante che maybe you to can go all kissy kissy since your so alike! The world needs to stop it's dependence on oil, but not all at once, imo. If we did, we'd be in the same price predicament as now. Gradual crossovers will do us good but will never happen if someone would spend more than 10 million on alternate fuel source research when they're making 36 billion in profits. (Those are the stats for ExxonMobil, this year)

Hey on the gas thing lets all just go to alcohol. Then you can get full while you fill up your car. Naw ,but seriously , It would be a massive economy boost to our country. Using corn as fuel instead of oil. We can grow more corn. We cant resurrect dinosaurs and wait for em to ferment into oil again. Plus you can make alcohol at home. Most people dont have access do a diffractioning tower.

The price of achcolol is a lot higher than the price of refined fuel. You would still pay about three to eight dollors for something cheap. And plus, you would have to start making vehichiles tolarant to that sort of change, the filters and pumps and so on. It is not a very clever idea sorry.

Also because there are no pipelines to transport it back and forth though the country. You might ask, "Why can't we send it thru the same lines we for gasoline?", and the answer is this, "We would, but if we did, the product would pick up the impurities, and by the time it got to your car, it would be crap, and if you actually used it, your car would blow up. The delay (and price) is affected by its transportation process, as soon as the pipes are laid, we should be fine.

You wouldnt need to have it run through a pipeline cause you wouldnt need a centralized source like gasoline. You could just grow corn, let it malt, add yeast, let it ferment, then distill off the alcohol. Thats how you make moonshine btw lol. mmmmmm moonshine
