Items deleted from death

I was doing Chaos with a friend with my mf sorc. I had died and had put on a COH to get my body back. Yea and then I died again. I quit out and rejoined into the same game. When I picked up my body, all there was the COH and all my mf items were gone. There was no trace of them in the sanctuary.
