true enough, but still that was a way of life in africa it was tradition we had no other way of life. while on the other hand y'all just had us cause it was profitable. I think DCM is right.

Don't you even start on racism, you know who most of the racist people I've met are? The ones claiming to be oppressed. I rarely see a white guy call a black guy anything racist, unless it's two friends done in good fun, yet I see black people tossing out racist slurs left and right. I've never seen a white guy challenege a black employer saying he was unfair because he was racist, yet I've seen far too many black people yell and scream when they get fired claiming the one doing the firing is racist.

You know what, it's not even racism, it's just people being people. To actually track stuff to the root of the problem is too much of a rigourous and timely process to correct. And not to mention psychology.

racism will never die if we are constatly reminded by it. --- Ie, Black history month, and the topic of slavery --- i feel as if african americans are infact just as american as the rest of us......why standout and dedicate a month to something that should be in an american history topic every month

As far as the slavery shit goes...there are no shackles on you pal, so you can go right ahead and shut the **** up about slavery.

I saw one of those chain things go around My Space a few months ago and it was one I had to repost myself because I agreed with it so damned much. I can't recall everything it said but a few things are relevant to the racism discussion startinghere. So I'm going to start a new thread for it.
