In Great Britain, our health care (the NHS) is free. But the amount of money that has to spent by the government to examine, maintain and 'fix' (i.e. heart surgery, joints, LIPO SUCTION) the overweight/obese people is crazy. This money could be going into charities, funds for schools and a million other better causes rather than wasting it on trying to regulate the obesities of Britian.
I just want to point out that my statement only applies to 95% of those overweight. The other 5% (those with metabolism issues) should be the only ones who get the care from the NHS. They're selfish enough to put themselves at risk and not think of others who could be better off with the government funds. Self-centeredness is what it is.
