McAfee is NOT shit. It is the best paid antivirus on the market... but not the best antivirus. There are three or four free anti-viruses that beat any of the ones that charge money, my favorite is AVG Free. There is a link in my signature that will take you to the homepage for AVG Free, just click download and find the latest version install for windows. You wont be dissapointed, it's a good antivirus.

AVG Features

Resident Sheild (auto-virus protection)

Email Scanner (scans emails\email attatchments for viruses)

Scheduler (automatic updates\scans)

Bootup Scanner (scans the main system files before windows is started... only takes about 10 seconds)

Internet Updates

Virus Vault (quarantine)

and of course... a kickass scanning engine.
