Why does no one care about this? Everyone just seems to try and sweep these events under the rug and forget about them. I'm not saying that the war is good or bad or that something should or should not be done about this. I just want people to be aware of this. Innocent people dying every day and no one cares? Is it because it is not happening in America or have we just become desensitized to such act of violence?
I do care, I actually read about as many events such as this as I can. Death is death, but the thing is, if death happens to someone closer to you, or in a area nearer to you, it has a greater impact. It is like this for all human beings, only to different degrees.
