solo is real easy , TOO easy

i don't think solo is easy as all that. if you have all the typical gear and one of the cookie cutter builds, i'm sure it's very easy. to play it legitly, it's fairly difficult, i think. The monsters have good resists, huge regen, and badass mana steal....attributes you cannot find that easily even with the "improved drop rates" that 1.10 boasts. This patch was meant for b.net players and groups...not for solo.

I mean, if it's so easy why can a maruder in ACT 2 of hell nearly kill me in 2 hits and totally sap all of my mana...my character was level 75. I think that's pretty good for ACT 2 Hell...considering in 1.09 i took my legit characters all the way through hell in the 50s and low 60s.

My build doesn't suck that bad.

You can simulate multiplayer difficulty in solo if you want...but it get insanely hard unless you simulate more than 2 charaters. just use the command /players x

probably because the build of 1.10 is based on missile attack for most enemy attacks. they increased melee difficulty for multiple purposes cause of people saying it was too easy so they have modified it to make them eat their own words.

I guess I didnt state clearly what I wanted to say my fault and i'm not being sarcastic.

My step dad did no special builds we hadnt even herd of them till i found this site and both me and him dont like the idea of them. He just did a zon and orginized it the way he has learned through past games.With no cheating hacking or anything involved in it.
However he did have me add some sockets yesterday in his armor but he already sold it. So it isnt hard to beat if you play ligit and just go on experince.
Although I would hate to be a newb with the 1.10 version.

its not hard. most people base their stuff on certain statistics while others base on resistances. Best way i've discovered it do do a non expansion character first then convert it to expansion later on so you'll have a high resistance when you start expansion.

it's not surprising for 3 orbs and 5 storms to barely harm a doom knight in hell. he does have 5k-9k life... not to mention, he probably regened a lot of it in between the casts.

hell wasn't meant to be soloed in 1.10, especially for sorcs because of all the elemental immunities.

the only character that has a good chance of soloing through act5 hell is a CE necro with some skeletons and a holy freeze merc.

an avenger might be able to do it, but it'll be really hard due to insane fanat-enchanted extra strong extra fast archer packs

imo, no other build stands a chance of making it past act4 without having to party up.

Not true at all! I only do single adventuring and I've made it through the entire game with every one of my characters including a javazon and a werewolf-druid. And while I do find it quite difficult, it is still a fun challenge to beat it without using any tried and tested builds.

I think this game can be played in any way you want to. Solo-ing is possible, of course (especially with a zon). Multiplayer, although, is defenitely what they made 1.10 for. Right now, i've been playing it legit offline with my bro - and it's pretty hard, we are level 72 barbs in hell Act 1 HC. I have no idea where I'm going with this...:p
