Bush Cheats yet again - Remake of 2000
mpeck Wrote:look at it this way......we went into iraq and removed suddam(or however you spell his name) so he wouldnt cause us any more trouble in the future

close....terrorists believe dying for what they do will cause them to go to heaven and be surrounded by like 92 virgins or something like that(cant remember the number, but its a good bit)
Its 70 virgins, and i don't know why they would believe that when i can't even find one on Earth.

And i seriously doubt that sadam would have caused us any problems in the future. When we invaded Iraq he didn't stand and fight, he ran like a lil school girl into a hole to hide. This is because he wanted to live. So the thought that Sadam has some master plan to build WMDs and use them against the US, is about as likely as me marrying Cameron Diaz.

Do you live in a cave? Seriously. 9/11!!! The biggest event of anyones life here. The last major attack on US mainland since the Mexican American War. The 2nd most influencial event in the last 100 years, behind the dropping of the ATOMIC BOMB!!! 3000 American lives lost, because Dubya never actually learned how to READ!!! And that's only one bad thing. I'll continue sometime if you need more convincing. Why don't we think before we type next time.

911 wasn't Bush's F***in fault! wether it was Bush or Gore in office 911 was almost unavoidable. there wasn't enough information to stop it. maybe there was enough information, but you cant know. it was years ago. maybe the info was wrong, maybe it was right, maybe there wasnt enough, and maybe it was there with overwhelming amounts, we will most likly never know the truth. of course the country could have been better protected. but, it takes something tragic, like 911, to bring it to our attention,

If Gore was in office I could bet almost anything that 9/11 would never have happened. Osama and Bush Sr. had their time back in 89-92. So his son being re-elected was perfect for Osama to try something new. Did it work? Yes ineedy it did work. Bush never read the damn warning report about Osama planning to attack. Did he raise the terror level? No. Did he put people on alert? No. He never did ANYTHING AT ALL except go on his little vacation because his ratings sucked really badly.

Nowadays, the Bush administration raises the terror level like its a toy or something. They raise the level and lower it based on OLD information. There are more security officers in airports now. Do they catch more things? Yes. Are we safer? NO!! All this talk about the safety of the American people is a lie. The administration is merely making people FEEL safer, but in truth, they aren't. If someone tried hard enough, they could get onto the plane with a bomb.

Have we been attacked since 9/11? NO!!

'make tax cuts for the rich and/or semi-rich'

Haahaha. Beleiving what youre candidate says, eh? Well my family benefited from that tax cut. My father is a small business owner. My father and mother are both photographers, and we live in a 1 story house and my parents share a vehicle. Yeah buddy! We're living it up and rolling in all of our money! Please. Don't try pulling that B.S. You're going to tell me we are among the top 2% of wealthy people in America?

We receive threats like that of Osama's every day. Are we supposed to put patriot missle defenses around every capital/government building in the United States? Do you have an idea on how Bush could have prevented 9/11?

How in God's green earth could anybody sneak a bomb onto a plane? You couldn't sneak a butterknife on a friggin' plane these days.

EDIT: Oh no wonder you're so anti-Bush. You're from California.

excuse me but if the rich paied more money then your family wouldnt have to pay as much as they do now.... have ever heaqrd the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.... maybe we should find a middle ground for taxes i mean look at opera doesnt look like she hurting on cash fe: she bought everyone of her audience members a car brand new... if she can do that she can pay more taxes....

You're missing the point pal. Nubli said Bush gave tax cuts to the rich. John Kerry said the top 2% most wealthy people in America benefited from it. We benefited from it. Do you think we're rich?

Actually all the cars Oprah gave away, the people still had to pay taxes on it.

We did get tax cuts, but the rich got a bigger cut. I think the rich should have to pay more taxes since they can afford it. The poverty striken people should have the biggest cuts to help bring them up to middle class.

Yes, thats part of it. Many people out in California (and basically all the Kerry voters) think differently when it comes to political issues.

Shutup Beholder. You don't justify what you say, so just be quiet. Nobody cares about your biased mindless opinions.

'We did get tax cuts, but the rich got a bigger cut.'

No, no, no, no. You had nothing to say so you tried to talk out of your rear on that on. Stop spinning.

Let's get back on topic here.

I just realized that liberals want it both ways. Either Bush is a total moron who can't run the country, or even read for that matter, or he is a diabolical genious who can trick us into going to war and cheated in 2000 and 2004 without the press being all over him.

Any explaination?

'in all honesty bush is in it for the money hes just trying to make his life more cuseny for when hes out of the presidentcy(sry bout spelling)'

That is probably the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. Shhh, you don't justify what you're saying, just go away.

'(and basically all the Kerry voters)'

Oh gosh. I'll give you an example of a Kerry voter when I get home from church. Oh, speaking of church... If we have no business in Clinton's sex life, then nobody else has any business criticizing Bush's religion and the fact he prays. So much hypocricy...

um look at what bush has done hes given tax cuts to the rich hasnt done anything about the corporations moving out to sea and if you look at his past hes been in oil, ran a baseball team, was mayor of texas cmon hes only looking out for himself for when hes out..

Nobody criticizes Bush's religion that I know of. But many people criticize Bush because he is using his religion as a guide to matters of the world, which is not what you are supposed to do. Bush thinks he is the president, not because of the American people, but because of Divine Right (I think you know what that is.)

Here is an angry blog post by some woman:
http://www.opednews.com/patricia0104_Bush_Sucks.htm
It's a big more freestyle anger than anything really, but she sums it all up nicely.

This thread is getting old and redundant. I will leave it open and continue to discuss, I just hate repeating myself. All I can say now is that I really hope we have seen the worst of Bush. Maybe he can finally do some good for this country.

I live near seattle on vancover island.and im as close as you can get to the states here in canada. i dont get this popular vote crap. IT should be very black and white....You vote for 2 people. the person with the most votes wins..if its by 1 vote...to bad you win or loose..this popular vote crap is pathetic its really gay. In canada its stupid because liberals concentrate on helping the eastern people cause there is more people there and us westerernns..get ****. anyways i think its really dumb lol thank!

um the popular vote doesnt count much at all....its just to let ppl know who the favor is in an election...electoral college is the real way a president gets elected and it basically does go down to 2 ppl and who ever gets the most votes wins... popular votes only matter when states can go either way in elections cause the popular vote tells how the state will vote it really doesnt matter in other states such as new york cause we will always be a democratic state.....

If more things are caught doesnt that make us safe? and where did discussion of a bomb come in? Terrorist did not use bombs; they used our own planes. hell, you can make a pipe bomb in your house. I've seen t.v. shows where they've show how they are made. its impossible to be total safe but, as for stuff entering and leaving the country in an airplane where pritty damn safe.

acually, in 38 of the 50 states, the electorial college HAS to vote based on the popular vote, but the rest, popular vote doesnt matter

no it really doesnt matter cause the states hire ppl to vote and it depends on their prference
