Need help with sockets

for some reason i cannot socket anything , i do use a d2loader because my cd broke, can anyone tell me why i cannot socket anything on d2 exp ? i have the 1.10 patch and its pissing me off that i cannot socket any items at all.

Maphack has a "socket protection" feature on it, if you use it. Other than that, no idea.

this happened to me before, just put what u want into ur stash then socket it there

hmm so if im using a maphack it wont let me socket anything? i use some wierd one but it works so if i dont use the maphack i can socket stuff? and it wont let me socket anything in my stash either im getting really pissed. i have my entire stash full of all perfect and its really frustrating that i cant use any of them.

Just close maphack, or if you're using mousepad's just click "Remove" for a second, go back in the game, do your socketing like a pro, then turn MH back on.

ok thanks alot man, thats really been bothering me lately and i couldnt figure it out why i had thoughts about the maphack doing it but couldnt understand why. so thanks now i will pwn those bastards ^_^.

Either that or what happens with mine is my mh has a socket lock when an item is on me. If I take off that item and put it in inv or stash then I can socket it.

if ur using maphack and u want to socket something, alt+tab out and click remove, then go back to d2 and socket ur item, then alt+tab back out and press install then go back to d2

With c3po you can socket items with socket protection on if you have the items equipped.
