If you do have dsl just unplug your router and modem for about 30 sec, but if you dont you can change your ip adress by either restarting your computer sometimes or you could manually which you can search on good for

okay.. sooooooo i use cable and how would i change my ip manually?

your ip only changes(most of the time), if you have a static IP, dynamic ip however, changes on rare occations (ex. your internet company looses power), and once a week (different for each company), they ping all the routers, to make sure they are still there, if now, that IP is assigned to another router, and when you reconnect your router, you will get a different IP
