i'm looking forward to Guild Wars myself, was designed by most of the Blizzard North team (D2 team), they split apart from blizzard after hearing the plans for WoW, which is where they got the idea for Guild Wars, its not out yet, but soon, i have friends in the beta and they said its alot like WoW, except its free to play online

I have the Beta to Guild Wars and it's a pretty decent game, it gets tedious, VERY fast. you have to craft all of your items, which is a really good idea, but the materials are quite rarw. The looting is randomized, and it seems to me, that the worthless party members seem to get the loot.(It's not that they're weak...they just don't do anything, and the items are reserved for them.)

I had a warrior/mesmer for anyone who plays the game and I was quite strong with the combo, though, last weekend I logged on and I couldn't even kill a tengu warrior. Something happened, and I got screwed, I'm not sure if I'll be going back to the game.

Pay to play was created for MMORPG's, they were not supposed to be sold in the first place, they were supposed to be free, and you pay a fee every month to play. I refuse to buy an MMORPG that I have to pay monthly on, I'm going to find myself a key, and download a bootlegged game, eventually.

I played the open beta for WoW and I'm in the closed beta weekends for Guild Wars, and I can tell you that I prefer WoW to Guild Wars, by quite a bit.

i still think there should be a new act we need a new one its getting old with the same old ones over and over maybe like one where the boss is like a evil goat lol j/k i dont know what the other boss would look like it would be interesting....

mayb they make like a new lvl for each dificulty. like 5 for normal, 6 for nm and 7 for hell makin it harder, more fun n sumthin to work towards.

patches xpack for d2 are just not going to happen...

as for a d3? well don't you think they'd be smart and realize that all hundreds of thousands of people that play this game would like another new game just like this, only new? lol...blizzard...no they turn to world of warcraft - they take a chance at a new game type for their company, and a turn from their chain of warcraft games - dddeerrrr

i believe that in maybe 5 years the game will be announced and maybe 10 it will be out...not something to be expecting....

why take so long? im just look at SC Ghost - how many people have anticipated this? how many people even KNOW about it??? it comes out in in about 6 months, which surprises me that they didn't cancel the damn thing...hopefully some of these Devs move to make d3...but who knows?

Look. BLizzard is trying to create 1 game at a time. If they say they're going to release it one time, I would expect it about 6 months to a year maybe 2 years later.

There should be ALL new ects, except keep act 4 and 5 maybe... And it should be like WOW in some ways but not too similiar. Still has to have the D2 feeling.

ok looky here....most of the developers quit from blizz (which has been said b4) and alot of them have teamed up along with a bunch other ppl and they are coming out with GuildWars. Many are calling this D3 simply because alot of the developers that made d2 and lod are makin this game now, and because the chances of an actualy d3 are very very slim. SO IF UR WANTING A D3 SO BAD, wait for guildwars!!!! its going to be awesome!!! for those who havent heard of it, it will be a mmorpg like everquest and world of warcraft except u dont hafta pay monthly for an account. its completely free apart from payin for the game itself. its expected to completely smash WoW AND Everquest2 (and for those of you who dont kno what those are......that would be a huge accomplishment for outselling EQ2) ok im done here for now. it is, its way good! i played the world preview (basically an open beta, just downloaded the full game, and played for 3 days) and its definately gonna pawn most games. i cant wait till its released, already have it preordered but yeah, alot of ppl are callin it the "diablo 3" tho it isnt.

I hope it doesnt become like WoW. I cant imagine paying monthly to play this game. I think ALL the quests should change in each difficultity. Maybe so you get the full story. They really have no that much to go on with the story though. The lesser evils Lord of Sin and Lord of Lies are still alive. Destroying the worldstone did have a affect, the barrier between the santaury and hell was broken. Thats about it...

There will be no Diablo III or Expansion I can tell you this because the main guy that worked on Diablo got fired or quit I don't know which one I think it was quit cause he got fed up with the way blizzard was running. Anyways even if there was it would be totally differnet because they would hire someone else to make it.

Expansion, the 2d gfx and everything is what makes D2.

yea i rekon just leave it the way 1.10 is setup (exp., acts structure etc. but add new
skills,chars,items and change the acts n bosses (monsters may stay). 2d for sure. 3ds to
much trouble. the ease of use is another thing that makes diablo awesome
