Well i have heard that EBgames is buying blizzard out and they are making a d3 and expan game, but ebgames is gonna make profit by making us pay to play online. WHAT IVE HEARD )+)+)

as long as they put in some new templates for the charcters, i would be happy. that's not true, but i don't want to HAVE to play a female assassin or play a barbarian who's a turd with a rat tail (all your tough just went out the window buddy).

they could easily do a new diablo, and yes i agree 3D blows hard. if they make a new diablo i don't want to play in some game that's an everquest ripoff (yes i know everquest isn't the first one...duh) but MMRPGs suck. you could say diablo is one, but i'll say NO. The reasons diablo rocks is:

1) it has demons and crap in it and you get to bash their skulls in

2) IT'S FREE

3) It's free.

4) it's 2-D

5) it's not grand theft auto

6) you can build a class different ways, yeah about 3-5 each class, but that is versitle enough

7) it's somehow not boring, considering all you do is click a mouse (good job blizz)

8) There's bots that come into your game, fill your screen with tihsllub then you die cuz you were in mid battle

9) it's free

10) and after so many years it has went down in price *cough Halo/GTA*

and 11) they are not charging $55 (compared to the ussual $50 ) like some half-life 2's that we know...... you f'n holes. martass2

Since this kind of relates to D3 or Expansion, I would encourage everyone to look at this site I was checking out and maybe think about where Diablo could go from here. As everyone has really good ideas obviously these are ideas that peeps have actually followed through on. It would kick-a$$ if there was an Assasin Set worth a crap for once and monster drops were improved slightly. Again just something to think about.

I also want to add this too, when you go to this site if of course you've never been here, drop down to set items, OMFG, could u imagine if there were sets like this that BNET actually thought up how much different the game would be. Yeah and sets would b worth something again for peeps who werent rich either. I'm a pally lover so if you are too look at the pally sets. +7 to Pally skills and a new aura that would give you +exp to you and your party and +1 to skills for every 20 skills into this and that skill i.e. meditation. HOLY SHEEP $HIT, I think I might just quit regular bnet all 2gether and go to this, seems kinda fun I'll let ya know. Not to mention GUESS WHAT??? Hirelings now have sets of there own.

i dont think items like the ones youve described would be legit, but that would still be cool. i think the only way to make an item like that be balanced is that if they made it so that you have to do certain events in order to get the items (like diablo and his annihlus).

I have the perfect storyline for D3, becuase diablo and his mates soulstones were destroyed the three of them were released back into hell where they first had been and becuase of the destruction of the worldstone a portal to hell had opened up and lots of demons and what-not have entered the earth, so tyrial and some of his arch-angels decide to break the code of letting the earthlings let themselfs die so they come to earth to help and /rant

BTW all Eastern Sun does, the mod that you linked to, is screw it up. I followed instruction to the letter and it did not work at all. I just got an error message saying I had an invalid inventory and could not load game.

There will probably never be an expansion for D2 again (it’s a bit late). If there is going to be a D3 it will probably be online like world of warcraft and have features like morrowind (very customizable characters).

I think the story line for D3 will be related to the destruction of the world stone, like something weird like all time turns into one dimension (to much ff8 for me). Yeah, set in the future, after the world stone was destroyed there was a rip in the universe and the evil sorceress 'ultimoosica' is enslaveing the world, while you must go to the past, to stop Tyreal from destroying the world stone useing 'allone's' past-bringing powers... but Tyreal belives you are the 'dark wonderer' Tyreal & other Arch-Angel's are against you. Cain is the only one that belives you're from the future stopping tyreal for the 'goodniss' of the future but when you do stop tyreal from destroying the world stone, you meet him at the pandemonim fortress and with all the havoc/chaos going about the 'Hero' never gets a chance to destroy the world stone leaveing the prime evils alive and when you return to the future, some lame 'eyes on me' song is playing, yet the prime evils have left earth but unleashed their chaos/havoc in 'heaven' where you must go. The Arch-Angels are powerless because Izual taught the Prime evils how to use the hell forge to their own good, fuseing the stones together to make a industrictible stone; which when they are in possetion of it, is an 'cryptonite' to the Arch-Angels. To stop the Evils you must join them and learn their ways, and doing evil deeds for them, earning their trust while, 'old fart' cain is secretly following you through the acts and telling you how to back stab the 'evil forces' with out them figureing out, but at the end a final climatic showdown between good vs evil, you VS all the Prime evils (The prime evils are changed still meph, andy, baal, Tal-rasha though andy isn't a prime evil she is still there; The Brothers/Prime evils are highely advanced since their battles in d2)

its not gonna be a first person game. d2 is all about the up above view. if they made d3 first person i wouldnt play it. the 2d view is what makes d2 what d2 is. and i dont think they should change that. and no you wouldnt have to pay because d2 is a single player that has a campaign to it. your thinking of an MMORPG. d2 isnt one of those and i doubt if they make a d3 will be an everquest or a WoW. d1 had a single player and you didnt have to pay d2 is the same thing. just a new story. alll they need for d3 is a new story.

ive been playin d2 since 2000 so im pretty sure if they made a d3 (IF), it would be the same as d2. what would be the point of making d3 an mmorpg. they are making millions off of WoW already.Wow Beat everquest 2! they dont need 2 games. they make enough money with all the other games they have made. i know people who want diablo 2 , starcraft, warcraft, and even diablo 1 still!

well... I dont think graphics should change much. This being because it would lag on many peoples computers, which would make blizz lose people. Also about the chars. They should make it so u can practicly design the way your char is. like in dungeon seige. like u can make a skinny, muscular, fat, black, white, tan, blonde hair, black hair, red hair, grey hair, black hair, and so on. so you could personalize your char and have a unique character that you can call your own, that wont look like anyone elses (unless they copy u). Instead of having the same figures running around and stuff like that. And I also think it should stay along the lines of d2. I mean people are addicted to the way d2 is right now and im sure just minor changes wouldnt hurt but major changes may make blizz lose in popularity.

I rly dont think they should make it like wow....or charge or nething like that cuz i personly think wow sux and it lags way to much....i have alianware comp for my WoW and a dell with new video card for my diablo and frozen throne and even at time my alianware comp lags in big towns and i think its just worthless to make a game that big and that much of free ability....its just sux when i see other ppl trying to play WoW and lagging and i dont think diablo should ever get like that...it rly limits the players who just wanna play the game for free and on decent comps
