why don't you have diablo installed? all I did was kept everything i had in my diablo 2 folder and downloaded that 110 to 109 folder and copied everything from it into my diablo main folder in my program files and then followed the rest of the steps. You don't have to reinstall diablo.

yea I was just playing, im lvl 3 and got completely bored because i feel so alone. Im quitting the server unless other peeps join in otherwise I would have more fun playing single player.

Nvm, it will take too long to aquire all the good items from 1.09 although I still feel like playing 1.09...would 1.09 be different in gaining massive exp from hell cows instead of baal?

in 1.09d you can actually get to 99 in reasonable time - i belive the record is two weeks; items will be given in tournys, so if you can spend an hour to have some fun with a few other people ( play an iron man) you can get bugged items, as for legit items i give godly mf gear and noob items away as much as requested (max max items btw)

I don't know, I was too poor and was a noob back in 09 so i don't know much, maybe it'll be a good idea. Won't blizz sue you or something? OR does it have to be like a huge server for them to notice it?

My server will NEVER reach the most idle times of BNet, as for legallities there are MANY lawsuits, and it's been many years. My server is never going to reach 50, there are servers (such as Ender's) which are thousands per day - unfortunatlly it's a battle.net with better admins (latests vers)

This is pretty much what I have always done. My LAN is MUCH faster then copieing files from the cds. All you need to do is have 1.09d and the gateway modified. If you need a cd crack, visit the site http://gkz.hopto.org <---I'm using it myself =)

Umm, I cant connect to the realm so im assuming its not up yet right? Also the forums link isnt working for me either.

Anyways, I remember your old 1.09 realm. It was fun. My name was "Super".

The realm is up, the forums are not (I'm working with my clan admin on this one), and of course I remember you super! the barbarian that played nearly every night with me!

You guys must of not followed the steps. I just followed the steps and i am on my new sorc on the server. The only problem is it says there are 347 accounts created but im the only person online at the moment, is that a bad thing?

Those are the accounts from the previous run time. I shut it down due to the computer's power supply burning up, which of course didn't happen until my 24 port hub died =(

Since you have a character and I rebuilt the server, you will have to tell me the name of your character for me to recover it. Post it or IM.

Alright GKZ mabey you can answer some questions I have. I joined your server but when I enter into the server im the only person in it. Is there supposed to be other users online? Is there a ladder option I can't seem to find because that could solve my problem by not seeing anyone because mabey the other users are all ladder and im nl?

You also said you would give out items to people? would you be able to support me with a couple mf sorc items because I started a sorc so I can do meph runs.

And about the tournaments...you said you give away items for the best competitors, do you mean bugged items that you cannot find?

Please answer my question about the users, I would really like to continue playing in a world with others and not by my self. haha.

1. MF items and Noob items are given free, just ask for them...
2. Since the servers been up for a little bit more then a day, I need to advertise it and any help you can offer would be great (by telling your friends and posting threads on other forums) - most I've had is 3. If you stay on or IM me I will meet up with you
3. Tournys will be announced on the forums and through d2gs (red text when entering a game) and I will be offering bugged items.

You can also type /users and /con and /games to help you find people.

Oh ok thnx GKZ, that cleared up info, yea I will do what I can to advertise. My friends mostly play WoW or other console games and I only know of one friend that wants to join this server so he will when i steal the game from my other friend for him.

EDIT: by the way is there any way you can auto make my char in hell and a good high level with the stats not used and same with skills so I can have a nice lvl sorc to mf and then create other chars from scratch?..haha just asking..

I'm not against rushing but making a high lvl sorc with thinking " The sorc will be this lvl after i rushed him anyway, just a time consumer" then who knows what the next step will be? create items because its a hazard to find them lol?
