Im not into reading much, but id sure as hell read the d2book, by the way if u go to blizzard.com they alrdy have books on d2! go to blizzard.com and click on "online store" then on D2 merchandice or w/e and scroll down and they have like 3books on d2 (><)

dudes, first we make movie, then we copywright, then we put it in d loads. Being rich....lol.... look peoples.... if blizz sees this movie, they wont buy shit, and there is no way everyone will get a share of the money. I thinnk we should just put it in d loads, and not charge, its just the smart thing to do. And as for the story line, we need more ideas. THere can b something like this. Sorta all the hearos, of different worlds come together to fight the evil that threatens all the wordly dimmensions, etc. No more shit on money please..... more stuff on ideas on movie, then we talk about the chi ching$$$$$

this thread is good for one thing...repetitiveness...people start talking about people they should get for the cast (and none of those people would even work in this movie) then someone tells them to stop talking about the cast...then it goes into a debate about the story...people get bored of that and start talking about money/copyright and someone tells them to stop...then we start about how to make the movie...people once more get bored with this idea and talk about cast/money/copyright stuff...i think the idea for a diablo 2 movie is great but talking about plot and all that stuff on a thread open to everyone just isn't the way to do it...if someone wants to make a flash movie or present the idea to blizzard that would be great...if a movie was ever made about d2 then i would watch it...until them im just going to play the game...oh and i think a movie was already made for d1, d2, and LOD because if u search for diablo movie on google there are a few sites with the movie but u can't download them...

Maybe, with all ur guys' sig making expertise, we could start a crazy idea I have. WE make the movie. Yeah, it'd be sweet. I know how to due some verrrrrrrry simple 3d character generation and animation, I just need a better program then the stupid one I used in Highschool. I made a palace guard guy breakdance, and I have to say it was quite entertaining. Other people were making and animating scorpions and such, but no one came close to my breakdancer making expertise. Damn, Im good.

yea ive read alot of em.... alot of them ARE on the chars and PRELUDE to diab on the chars. and then alot are just........not. but neway!!!!!!!! this book would still be tons bigger... more like a novel.

but hey, hardback sounds good. but, in case you hadn't noticed, the characters on diablo 2 never eat or sleep, and they get hit, drink a potion, and are fine again. how'd you plan on working that in?

Perhaps, an interesting way to do it, (might get monotonous) would be to write it more like a journal, with several entries a day, but we wouldn't have to deal with sleep and all that shit... but then again, that would make detailed descriptions of battle interesting because why would he write every detail of a battle to himself? -_- sorry just floating an idea...

yeah... i don't think that'd work out too well. i think that if they were like the heads of an army or contingent of soldiers, it'd be a lot cooler.

should this be like a backstory thing where there are mini backgrounds to every class, or are they going to start out all together, i think it would be cool if a char that wasn't previously in the party, (by nature a loner.... i.e.- assassin/necro) sways a decisive battle, or helps out the group but never affirms his participation as part of the party? just like a camera shot through the flames as you see a necro look back at the party, give a brief nod or something.. then leave... or something along those lines, but then again if this is a book, gd that kinda limits us in the small details that can really only be fully portrayed with visual aid ah well, anyways...

a book is simply out of the question. we need visuals. Massive armies of the undead and demons ravaging the lands. Thats what the movie would be all about. A giant axe severing the head of Baal in the last moments of the film. For gods sake, people, be dreamers.
