Bush Owning America... Again...
Ok we're in what's called a recession. IT IS UNAVOIDABLE. The economy fixes itself what Bush does more of keeps us from going into a depression and tries to bring us out of the recession as soon as we can. Also Clinton passed a bunch of bills and made some bonds which is now killing us in interest and alot of the bonds raise taxes for home owners and therefore with the higher taxes the value of our money isn't what it was and we now have $400,000 homes being the norm in some cities. So no Clinton does not rule. Also one of Clinton's tactics for money was counterfitting American bills and selling them to other countries. Selling completely worthless bills to other coutries for their money basically making it all profit. While a pretty good idea it's illegal and got alot of people mad.

Wait, since when has the U.S. economy been in recession? Last I checked, the stock market predictions for next year could bring it ahead of the all-time highs enjoyed during the tech-boom of the late 90's. The Unemployment rate continues to fall, the job market continues to rise on average in most of the United States. If you don't believe me, check the facts for yourself. Google the recent evolutions of the U.S. economy, check the numbers of Unemployment rate and the average salary per worker. And if you look at national averages, both are going up. And both have passed the post-9/11 numbers we saw. What does this all mean?!?! Please somebody tell me how this can mean recession?!?! If I read reports saying that the U.S. economy is healthier then it's been in 4 years, and the job market is actually starting to steadily grow again, what does it all mean?!?!
I was under the impression we were just pulling out of the recession but to be honest lately I haven't been able to keep up with absolutely everything. From what you say it sounds like we're out of the recession. Good to know.

this war might help iraq in the long run, but most of the people in iraq rather america to be gone.

the invasion of iraq is helping america in one way, it boosts the economy and bush relieves some hatred he has had.Big Grin

many people hated america before the war on iraq for many legit reasons, but a lot of people just jump on the bandwagon to hatred against america becuase there the biggest and the best (military wise), i know that sounds wierd but its true.
It's really sad when people start following France

I would like to here these "legit" reasons for why people hated America. Please explain them in detail.
Tool Wrote:... Iraq isn't under a democracy... And as soon as we take the troops out, which will be a couple years, I know, it'll probably go straight back under dictatorship or something.

But wait... Is TroGdor saying he agrees with UGM or is against...? l0l =\

In other words, you are saying that the Iraqi people are just too weak to support themselves, and that they will just be submerged by another dictator. I personally think that if they can develop democracy there, then it will spread throught its region. Much like when Germany become a democracy, it flourished in Europe causing free Europe...
Still doubt it will, though. Afghanistan may stay a democracy but I have doubts about Iraq. =\
Tool, you've been talking about the Mexicans taking our jobs, but I have something that I need you to read. He has extremely valid points and a way to get them across, as well.

the real problem:

Americans want $10 and hour for a $7 an hour job.

While the immigrant will live with $6.75 an hour but would LOVE $7 hour AND they'll work Saturday and Sunday for no overtime.

We've become so complacent and have started to think that more and more should just be GIVEN to us that when these people from asia, mexico, south america and other third world countries come to America after having worked there butts off for $20/week to support their four person family and see that for 1/10 the work they did in their home country they can earn 8x as much money or more they think they have just found paradise. Really its we, the American people, who are handing jobs over to the immagrant in a most litteral fashion and then "b!tching" when we cant get a job.

Solution to this "problem": GET OFF YOUR BUTTS! WORK TWO JOBS! DONT BUY THAT NEW CAR AND CUT UP ALL THOSE CREDIT CARDS!

Your just dilluting yourself if you think that Walmart and other companies are purposely trying to take jobs away from americans. In reality large corperations like Walmart supply the most jobs of all just we're to snot nosed and lazy to realize it.

Practically what Maddox was saying. If your job is taken by an immigrant, you can go **** yourself because you weren't working hard enough anyway...
... Have you ever seen a Mexican? My French teacher also happens to teach Spanish, is married to a Mexican woman, and visits Mexico frequently. Point being, he says that Mexicans don't work that hard at all based on the fact that in Mexico they just sit back and relax. So don't sit there and try to tell me that EVERY Mexican works harder than the average American.
Well seeing as I live in Texas, yes, I have seen my fair share of Mexicans. And to counter your argument, don't try and tell me that EVERY Mexican is out to grab your job. If they're idle, they get fired, just like Americans. My point is that if an immigrant is willing to work harder than you are and get paid less money, they deserve the job.
I live in California...I've seen more Mexican immigrants than you guys have heard of. The point is here most of these are illegal immigrants and people can literally pay them about $40 a week and fire all the American's for this cheap labor. That is what people are complaining about not being able to get a job. The minimum wage here is 6.75 but they can pay these illegals less than 4 and get away with it. Then idiots like Gray Davis try to give them driver's liscences. I work for $8 an hour doing labor work and I work my *** off but chances are It'll take at least a year for me to even be considered for promotion. My point is it's the exploitation of the cheaper labor by companies looking for ways to cheat that causes our loss of jobs. The thing is this is great for the economy so nothing is really done about.

I never said that Mexicans were out to take our jobs. I said that Mexicans tend to NOT work harder than Americans. They just get paid shit so you can hire more to do more work for cheaper. It's like 2 Mexicans can take(not literally take... Just get hired, or whatever you want to call it) 1 American job and still get paid less than the one American. It's not that Mexicans are better it's that business owners are ****ing weasels (sp?) who only care about ****ing money and don't care about some of the real people who need money. Not saying that Mexicans don't... Just the illegal ones... =o

You should refer to the part where he talks about the well analogy.
I'm sure if you got paid assloads more money per hour than you did before, you would be willing to work harder than you did in your own country, because you seem to base the immigrants here on the people there. My opinion may be a little skewed, however... As I trust the points that Maddox makes and I will probably never have to worry about an illegal immigrant taking my job in the future (still in high school now)... That is, unless they're beginning to hire immigrants in law firms.
I was watching 20/20 tonight and I saw something that really sparked my insterest. Outsourcing I believe is what they called it. It's where you send jobs to other countries, blah, blah, blah. Myth was that it took jobs away and shit. Fact was that it instead created jobs and made things cheaper here like cloathes and other stuff. Now, if instead of the damn people coming here and "taking" our jobs we should just "give" them our jobs in other country because it, somehow, creates more jobs here. And makes shit cheaper.
i think we're going a bit off topic lol. considering what's going on with the middle east, mexicans should be the least of ur worries.
I just say we need to just stop fighting and friggen take iraq.....UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and this lil sh** whole IRAQ
