I hope this is the correct forum for this.
I recently downloaded Hero Editor. The Read me file has the following at the top:
Version=90
Version=Diablo II LOD V1.10
Version1=Diablo II LOD V1.09D
Version2=Diablo II LOD V1.10s beta
Version3=Diablo II LOD V1.10
I extracted the zipped file into a separate folder as zonfire suggests, and installed it, I assumed correctly. But for some peculiar and quite abtruse reason, H.E demands that I now upgrade my D2 LOD to V 1.10-which, strangely enough, IS the version I'm running.
My question is-why is this happening? And is there a version of H.E that I should use instead of this newest one (which doesn't make a lot of sense to me!) like perhaps Hero Editor V0.80. and the patch for that, Hero Editor V0.82, and why should an older version be preferable?
MY V 0.09 didn't save my changes, I assumed this version would work properly, but you know what they say about assuming, right? When you assume you make an *** of U and ME! :confused:
