I was bored so I thought I’d try making a charge pally using Hero Editor, here it is:

With this build your damage should be about 6k-33k and max res. I hope this guide helped some ppl in need for a GOOD Charger guide. If anyone thinks of anything else for it that would be better, then post.:devilish:

First of all on hero editor you can make all skills 20,secon if ur going to hack at least make it something you wont be able to go in and pick up in a drop mod or of some bot{I dont know what a bot is Im just guesing so if you know state it in a kind way back at me unlike other jerks}. NOT STATING YOU ARE A JERK!

yes you can make all 20 but the point of the idea is to test how good the character would be on closed bnet

if u're gonna go 2-handed, then i'd use war pike rather than thunder maul. wp's base avg dmg is 1 lower than tm, but it's range 5, whereas tm is range 3. i haven't done any tests, but i think being able to reach that much farther is worth the miniscule dmg difference.

since charge doesn't require ias, if u're on ladder i would give death runeword a try instead of ebotd. it has lower %ed, but has some pretty crazy DS and CB.

ill test the war pike out and hope i can find some non-hackers "invincibilty" on open bnet to test it out on and see if itd be better. also to clear this up im on non-ladder

Ladder is pointless not every one plays on it some of the best players I know play on non-ladder.

What my point was, Prism, is that EBotD is NOT NECESSARY to make this build work. 31k is not needed when dueling a Sorceress with about 2k life (I know about the 1/6 penalty, don't remind me). Did you test a Bonehew, or Executioner's Justice?

Angelics is a must since your prolly have low attack rating no dex o_O my thunderzealot has dex for block and angelics because aura doesnt give attack rating but still with out angelics and his like 188 dex he cant hit beans i doubt with fanatism id have any good

your absolutely right, especially since currently i cannot afford a ebotd, thx for posting that. also all i was saying earlier the xtra dmg is more required for barbs and guys with more life, but if it hurts enough it works. btw bonehew is better than that executioners axe, only prob is you needa put an amn and vex runes in it so you can steal life and mana

As far as sockets, I think that an enhanced damage jewel or something of this nature would work better than an Amn or Vex, since leech isn't very effective in PvP. The build is for PvP, right? It doesn't really make sense to me to have a PvM Charger, but whatever floats your boat.

yea but vex is nice so you dont have to use mana pots if you need em but personally if i had zod since i already have hel id just save em for ebotd, but if you use the bonehew then 1 vex and an enhanced jewel would prob be better.

vex actually costs something though lol. i don't think 7% ml in pvp will make much of a difference. charge only costs 9 mana, and chargers are usually meant for 1-hit kills anyway.

yea but it saves on mana plus id prefer usin the vex toward ebotd but i posted the vex thing for someone who wasnt gonna save up for ebotd
