I'm not familiar with that program but it were me, I would go to a site like "pricewatch" and buy a new one. Most don't carry lengthy warranties and the cost for shipping and repair warrant, in my mind, to just buy a new one dude. Sorry for the lack of help.

First, before you go buying money try this.

Start > My Computer > View System Information(Located in top, left corner)

A window should come up with tabs located at the top, select the Hardware tab.
Once you selected the Hardware tab, the first section there will be Device Manager and a button, click the button that says Device Manager.
Now that Device Manager is open, if anything is wrong it will be listed with a caution sign next to it.
If there is, do these;

Is:

Right click the Device, and select Properties. There should be a note there saying that it might be corrupted or missing. If there is, say so.

If there is not:

Do nothing.

~~~~~~
Ok if there is the problem there, download thi s.
CDgone
I recommend downloading it to your desktop just so its easy to find. Unzip it, open it, and then click cdgone. It will ask you if you want to put it in your registry, click yes.
Restart your computer and it should be fixed; if its not then the laser is probably dusty.
