D2 loader guide?

hey, i got a d2loadear but i have no clue how to download it to run it, i have the file, can someone walk me through it? if you wanna do it via chat, i have windows messenger and yahoo chat.

k open ur d2loader folder. find the file that says D2loader ReadME or somethin like that. open it up, and read the directions there...

I tryed that first(obviously) but i do not understand ANY of it

did u copy those files from ur cd? u have to put in ur cd, copy the files it said to copy, open d2 directory, and paste it in there

see, i dont know where the d2 directory is located, or what it looks like.... i am stupid

open C:\ then go to Program Files, then find Diablo II folder and thats the directory

ok, i got it to work, almost, i click to run the loader but an error message comes up saying storm.dii was not found or somthing close to that, how do i get storm in with the loader?

but, to run 2windows, you need to have d2loader...........wich means there is a tutorial for setting up d2loader............. understand ??? =/

ok, that link didnt help me at all, my question was not to install it was what do i do to fix the error storm.dll was not found. If you get mad at me for asking for a simple answer to fix it, dont post.

if u got that error then u didnt follow my directions. if u copied those files from ur cd to the d2 dirctory it should have worked...

ok, good news and bad news...... I got past that storm.dll error and i get d2 running but after the opening creds, i get the weird "guys, we have a problem" error, anyone know how to fix it?

ive gotten that error before the way i fixed it was i reinstalled the whole thing. but here is how i did loader all i did was take out the d2 icon out of the directory and put in the other one in the d2 directory.

hey ima noob to hacking n stuff. And i dun relaly get how to use d2loader, i followed all da steps till i got to editing cdkey.mpq *sometin like that* and like where u get the 2nd set of cd keys. And im also dumb wit technology, WUTS A DESKTOP? lol
