Ok everybody me n chesh got sick of all the console threads so this is the last one! it will be stickied! Anybody to make another thread about consoles will be warned or possibly banned. Same goes for posting in an old one! This rule will be in effect untill this thread dies, but try to make sure it dosent die!

I've noticed that more people are buying Xbox now. Most people just don't own Xbox so they really don't know what they are missing. Sure people say, "Xbox SUCKS.", "IT OVERHEATS", "WHO WANTS TO PAY $50 FOR ONLINE GAMING WHEN PS2 ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BUY THE ADAPTER.", "ALL IT HAS IS HALO! IT DOESN"T HAVE GTA!". Well sure PS2 has it's so called "awesome" game GTA. Xbox does have Halo but that's not all it has. It does have GTA just not San Andreas yet. But almost every PS2 game comes out for Xbox. Not only is Final Fantasy coming to Xbox 360 instead of PS3 but also Fable 2, Halo 3 ( I hope ), and more. People that say Xbox Live is worse than PS2 Online are wrong since XBL has a lot more games to play and you don't have to pay monthly for the games like PS2's FFXI. Sure you might have to buy an addon once in a while but who cares, it's about $5.99. Xbox doesn't NEED a memory card. So there is an extra $20 in your pocket. The graphics of Xbox are better too. I've played 7 games on Xbox and PS2 (since I work at a Gamestop) and found that the Xbox was smoother and more crisp. One of the titles I tested, Silent Hill 4: The Room, had way better gameplay and graphics on the Xbox in my opinion. I just don't understand the people who say, "XBOX CONTROLLERS ARE HUGUNGOUS AND HAVE TOO MANY BUTTONS!" This is not true since if you take the L2 R2 buttons off of PS2 and make them Black and White there you go an Xbox padel. Xbox controllers are more comfortable now too. The first padels I admit were pretty big but the new model S is small comfy and a kick in the *** to the old ones. PS2 controllers in my opinion have the handles to small and my fingers hurt from pushing the x button!

To close the curtain, Xbox is better in almost all aspects.

ok first of all, most ps2 games do not go to xbox, thats why ps2 has the most titles, second of all, ps2 and xbox are in there own little tug of war and pritty much there gunna end up being the same expencive pos that has no good games and nintendo will stick to its good old metriod, mario, zelda, and starfox and eventually people will get the hint that hell, only gameplay maters. Lets see how good online realy is? ive never played a console game online that was able to keep me entertained for over a week. pc games should stick to online, it wasent a good idea to put them on consoles in the first place especially when they went overboard and made the same old shit online over and over. fable= a disapointment, halo= a decent game but nothing to buy a xbox over and everything else is on ps2. graphics? ive never seen a xbox game that meets its potential. oooo final fantasy= bleh. After tactics final fantasy is taking a bad derection I'm not lookin forward to ff 12 for a reason, its only gunna be a average game most likly i truely believe sqare-enix has taken a bad direction and has already invested to much to turn around. as for gta, its on ps2 and sooner then xbox and they already have taken it in every derection the franchise can go, all they can realy do now is make it like sims were u get a job and such. as for the psp, its expencive and as for gameplay its basically identical to DS with exeption of tuchscreen which is not required for most games, its just a novelty. sure the mp3 and dvd capabilities are nice and all but were talking about GAMEING SYSTEMS not all that other shit.

I must be different from you then... I've been playing Halo 2 online for about 5 months now and still I am addicted. I don't like GTA since GTA 1. FF is a game I'll play once and never play again. But the upcoming titles for the new Xbox 360 are looking good so far. Nice comeback Tahu. I am done also.

i seriously like the SNES the best if you want enjoyable games get a snes or even the original nintendo
(duck hunt was pretty fun i still hate that laughing dog) chrono trigger is one of my favorite game of all time and also the original metriods were fun.

i only rate my systems on enjoyment if i play the game for a week and i get bored id say the game was crap

as for halo its only fun when u play multiplayer with your friends and stuff and friends arent always at your house. Dont wanna pay for XBL so i just play it at my friends house

How could I forget NES! I'm to young to have bought one, but I'm lucky my dad kept his SNES. I've accually been playing it a lot lately! Home Alone 2, U.N. Squadron, and ALL the Mario games are my favorite on the NES. =D

You forgot to add the fact that all he did was point out xbox is cheaper for the crappy online play it gives, for an extra dime, you get the better ps2 games. Don't play online from a game console othe than computer. I agree 100% plus what i added.

I also would like to comment Super Mario on NES was tehe best you can have. Because it was original. Thats why they dont have Super Mario:7 with online play. NES ruled

What about all the Sega games? Like, the Sonic games for the old Genesis and whatnot. Those rule. Still play 'em, still love 'em. The games after Saturn, though...Were basically lame. I had a great old time playing Corpse Killer all weekend...Hah, stupid jamaican guy with his voodoo...

How is it crappy online play? Not only can you have a real friends list that shares for every game, but you have a mic that works 1000x better than the ps2's, on pc like 1/20 guys has a mic. Xbox isnt cheaper unless you count ff on ps2, then your getting plain ripped. XBL > PS2 Online. Thats simple. Also the only games that ps2 has that i like was the old days of Armored Core and Socom.

ya just so you know, PS2 online is free, as long as your not playing FFXI(the bane of my existance, they couldnt have just made a normal FF game). Then you have to buy the stupid harddrive and pay money for the month. But all other games are free.
