I have ps2 online, there is one game that i actually used to play on it, Socom 2 (and 1). It was cool but normally laggy, and the mic system was horrible. Not to mention that your accounts get deleted regularly and friendlists dont carry over to different games. And the adapter costs like 25$ so thats half a year of XBL.

And plus this so called Xbox 360 is coming out in less than a year I hear. And a lot of games you get 2 months free anyway!

online play is crappy because (like recently in halo 2) they get new things for the game and you have to pay to get those. Plus for Xbox you need to get the adapter to plug into the wall. Starting on Xbox it costs like $479. I have a friend who just bought one. Don't try to argue that one. Xbox is more costly to start-up. and you have to pay per month. Ps2 is like $300 some and it doesnt cost per month. Ps2 is way > than Xbox.

I know at first i said Xbox was cheaper, i made a mistake. it isn't. check the facts. i did. out

XBox takes the cake here, no contest.

For all of you who say XBL sucks... Do explain, because I'm interested as to what you would complain about.

All PS2 has now, really, is San Andreas and Final Fantasy (I think). I played San Andreas for a while, beat it, then it got old. I've never played a Final Fantasy game, but from what other people say, including you guys, they sound good, as in good games.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the GT4/Forza Motorsport contest. Forza is supposed to be Microsoft's GT4 killer. I've been playing Forza often lately and have found that it is just plain more fun than GT4. Plus, you get to change the looks of your car.

i already did explain. it took me 2-3 posts to do it in too. maybe you should read the threads posts before you come on in and say how stupid we are. and btw XBL DOES SUCK

Xbox. People say xbox is nothing but its not alot like ps2. ps2 is pretty good the most i would go with is ps2 and xbox i like bloody horror scary and like shooting action games xboc and ps 2 have that. Other games like gamecube nintendo have like kid games. Halo is very good! you can play online , who cares if you have to pay 50$ its worth it anyway. I have halo for pc and it rocks

just remember that every system has kid games. every system has "bloody horror scary and like shooting action games". i don't feel like writing any more, but keep that in mind....

Xbox now owns ps2. Ps2 used to have better games, and that was the advantage, but now its about the same with a little edge to ps2
