Raid 1 and Raid 0
#1
I was just wondering what Raid 1 and Raid 0 do/ are used for?

Nothing important, just want to know for when I get my new computer if I should have one. Thanks.

Instead of attempting to give a half *** intermediate description of what RAID 0 and RAID 1 is I shall link you to a VERY good site about RAID.

If you still have questions please feel free to ask.

I knew I could count on you. =D

But I'm still wondering one thing, I need speed for a gaming computer, so would I get Raid 1 or 0? o.O

RAID 0 is pure speed and storage. RAID 1 is mirror array and used for fault tolarance. Truthfully try and set up a RAID 0+1 it has the fault tolarance of 1 and the speed of a 0.
