So, this wonderufl pulp fiction classic from Japan has finally come over here. I just finished reading it last weekend after picking it up on the subsequent thursday. Just wondering if anyone else here has read the book, plans on reading it or is reading it. I thought the book was fantastic. Koushun did a wonderful job developing each character, even though there were about 50+ main characters. The story, although the translation was off in some cases gramatically, was riveting. It is even more so if you have read and enjoyed the book Lord of Flies by William Gerald Golding as this story is much like Goldings except how exactly the students end up in a life or death situation is far different, no plane crashes here.
Well just thought I would ask around. BTW thats what my sig line is referring to as well, this book.
