this may be off topic for this group, but it's the closest i could think of. if you want to delete this then fine. i was wondering what the quickest way to get good items? i've been botting for a while now, but it seems like all the uniques i find (all of meph hell) i cna't really trade for anything good. my pali is too weak without enigma and hoto to kill anything (plus without enigma he can't bot cause of teleport). other than consistency, is there an answer?

Make a blizzard sorce, then setup a bot for her. You WILL find good stuff eventually.

i have a blizz sorc. she is lvl 84, shako, skullder's ire, occy, lidless, war travs, chance guards, 2 nagels and a 32%mf ammy. the only boss on hell she can consistently kill is meph, and only cause of moat trick. i've done 5821 runs. =\

the only advice i can give is to MAYBE replace the occy with a gull dagger when botting. it'll add 100% mf more to your total.

i'll give it a shot. currently with my occy and equips and charms i have 485% mf.

I get 568 from: Gull, Set shield (20%mf), Skullder (ptopaz), Shako(ptopaz), War travs, Chance Guards, 30-24 Nagel, 35% amulet, a 40% gheeds (lucky me =]) and some mf scs.
My build is a FO sorc with maxed FO/CM, 1 point in warmth, tele and static.
All the excess points I put in Blizzard, for killing Mephi effectively.
For Mephisto, you don't really need high damage on your Blizzard, just make sure you have maxed CM.
PS: I run Andy, Mephi and Pindle, all manually.
You could try this build if you like

Don't use a pure MF set up, use Tal armour, Tal ammy, and Tal belt trio, gives you just as much a a Skullders/Goldwrap/MF ammy at level 95. And Spirit for a shield. Then, if you want more MF still, put some SMFCs in your inventory.

if i could even get a tal ammy or tal armor, i would use it. hey is nm andy the best place to get sojs? i read that somewhere on here, and i did 170 runs last night and didn't even get a unique ring =\.

best way to mf is do lots of boss too like pindle eldrith n shenk andy countless meph...
i usually find sumthing good every 2 weeks but it works..
if u cant do them in hell then keep at it in nm until u get some good stuff to upgrade ur sorc for hell mfing... take awhile to get good stuff.... so just be patience ull get lucky..

umm use different ammy mf dont help everytime try more damage less mf until u c wut works best and use merc too like freeze merc helps alot but not for meph though...
try vamp shaft and insight or sumthing for merc if ur poor

donm't have a vamp or shaft, and don't even know what an insight is. heh. but i'm going to try using snowclash instead of tal's belt. maybe that'll help.

get at least one or 2 things that can do cold help. then you can kill more thing (andy,pindle, etc.) and you wil get more. the bigger chance is better than having 30 more mf anyway

NO NO NO... having over 350 mf doesn NOT help you it actually makes your drops worse... >< i dont know how many times ive said this Stop your mf around 350 and you will find WAY better drops...and if you wana get rich get a countess bot... they are for runes and thats what you need is runes... or soj's cuz 3 = 1 hi last time i checkd
