I wouldn't advise making this sorc, for pvp. Lightning is far to easily absorbed and even with merces convict and - lr on infinity, u have to get to close. Your merc will usually die and then this char is screwed without a merc this character is nothing. to pricey for a mediocre pvp char. But i give props to pantallica for the idea. she is great norm - nm rusher, countess, and even in hell a couple of teles your aura should do the trick in all baddies that arn't lightning immune. But For pvp the only chars your going to beat are noobs that don't have resists. BTW just wondering if you play the guitar pantalica i saw your image.

she can't own though lol, im not knocking on this sorc cuz its a good idea, with ts damage and holy shock aura still easy to resist and absorb, even with tele skill ull be lucky to kill any good dueler, damage just not high enough on aura. i made one with every possible item to boost damage, im sure even pant. will agree with me that any good dueler can resist/absorb this build.

How often does a PvP'er have LOTS of light res and absorb items easily on hand?

mabye once in like 10 games there comes along a guy with a bunch of absorbs + the person with absorbs prolly wont win cause pant will be teleing like crazy while the other guy is doing minor damage with absorb gear on

Thunderstorm, bro. Get the 105% tele breakpoint and just teleport around people. That's the only part of the build that takes skill - Teleporting close enough to kill with TS and HS, but not being close enough to get blasted by a tornado or fireball.

Use your merc to duel Conviction brings their resists extremely low.

For a bonus, try teleporting ON people with your merc. The melee is usually enough to finish them off.

Hehe, this sorc rocks pvp. I kill great duelers all the time.
She's even more than a handful for most people WITHOUT her merc. If you play east ladder, I'll show you.

After looking at all the Sorceress Guides, it is apparent that there is no Ladder only blizz sorc build on this forum since the new runewords.. I'll therefore try my best at making one.

Stats:
Str:131-141 base( this is depending on the + to all stats on your anni (20-10))
dex: none
vit: all rest
energy: 10-20 pts here if u really need it

equipment:
helm: perfect 5/5 cold die faceted nightwing
ammy: perf resist maras
armor: perf 5/5 cold die blizzard ormus
weapon: perf 5/5 cold die fathom
shield: perf fcr spirit monarch (if your baal botting try using a umed storm shield so u dont die)
gloves: magefists
rings: sojs or bk rings
belt: arachnid mesh
boots: try getting resist boots(25fire,0cold,15light,0psn) or silkweaves for now
weapon 2 shield 2: perf cta flail+spirit monarch

inventory: (if your baal botting take out as many cold skillers so u can have enough room to get max resists.)
perf resist anni+9x +5 all resist scs.
u need 5 12% fhr cold gcs and 4 + to life or reg cold gcs, totalling 10.

Merc:
As usual, act 2 nm defense merc for holy freeze aura
armor: perf % dr chamed levi
helm: 80/30% ias coa
weapon: eth insight thresher, or eth infinity thresher is best.

skills: alright, almost forgot these ones lol.
1 pt into warmth,
1 into a cold armor if u want
1 pt into teleport and telekinesis
put 1 pt into the prereq's for ts, ts, and 1 into light mastery if u want to

max in this order glacial, iceblast, blizzard, mastery, icebolt.

final statistics:
115% fcr
115% fhr
level

resists at 75/85/75/60/
level 44 cold skills, level 47 blizzard
level 14 bo cta minimum (74),level 17 bo (83)cta max.
75% cold dmg
-15% enemy cold resistance
level 44 cold mastery for 240% cold dmg
life w/o energy and perf cta=1405-1442
life w energy and perf cta=1332-1348
life w/o energy and low cta=1336-1371
life w energy and low cta=1267-1281
dmg on blizz=15.3k-15.9k(dmg hasn't been tested with baal-bot setup)

i would take out for frosties dont need fcr for bliz 40% mana helps alot when teleing


the mages give enough fcr to reach the 2nd last fcr bp, besides, there are mana potions.
