rep points idea

the minimum time is 3 months. i was wondering because i think after a year, unless you are really just being a duesch, there is no reason you can't be a member. and btw this isn't my first account. i had one back in may 04, but i got my comp taken away for a month and forgot the pass and name. so for the record, i'm not the noob you think i am.

There is something called forgot password... You just type in your email address. It gives you your information and then BAM! like that, you have your account back. Quit complaining. No, the veteran members reputation points does not need to be lowered. In my opinion it should be raised.

No offense, but in truth being a vet really doesnt mean much at all. I cant really remember what the priviledges are exactly, but i do remember they really arent that much. So why worry about it. Its just an online forum. Why not just enjoy having a ton of cool people to talk to, like foog, Fate(aka ugm), fuggle, slvt and all the rest. A mod should close this, its started to be counterproductive, and its obvious that the mods arent gunna change anything.

ok. well i'm glad at least i got the idea out. i probably shouldn't be complaining, since i still need 300 more posts til i can be half qualified.

but i don't think it should be only reps given out in the d2 areas or the sig makers. it should be just as equally spread throughout flame wars, jokes, current events, role play, etc. lets not discriminate to those who are great with the site, but aren't d2 genius'.


edit: hehe this was my 200th post.

and i just thought of this idea. maybe give out 5 rep points automatically to people who make a good thread that gets over 150 posts or 1000 views. hows that for a way to give out rep?

I got most of my rep OUTSIDE the D2 Forums. Plus anybody who starts a huge flamewar like yourself could get rep easy as hell.
