Ya, I would rather see a Halo 3, because the more time and effort they put into the new Halo, the better it will be. And it would be hard to work on both at the same time, because I am sure those people wouldnt wanna work their asses off on two games, one of which is probably going to become more popular than the other

i seriously hope the xbox 360 will be able to play the regular xbox games. one of the reasons i will prolly end up getting the xbox 360 will be for fable 2 and the shooting games on it. oh and dynasty warriors. <-- kill me if this is spam. or, just warn me...

Back on topic, I haven't heard anything about backwards compatability but I sure hope they do add it in. I would love to continue playing my old games on the new system.

um, all dynasty warrior games have the same story line... i seriously hope microsoft will work on the whole compatability with old games. maybe if they do it will be able to enhance the old game graphix.

They do other games besides the Dynasty Warriors series. Also it's all the same because they use information from historical battles to build their characters and games.

Im sticking to computer too, its much cheaper too have a computer with same quality as the PS3 or X-Box 360

Great News! Microsoft might make an emulator onto the xbox 360, making it backwards compatable. I think so far halo 1 and 2 are supported on it. And I'm sure if Microsoft doesn't make an emulator, someone else will.
And I think that Xbox 360 blows your computer away, and how is your computer cheaper? Computers cost around 2000 for a good one, and definitley not under 350 to upgrade it to xbox 360's power.

As soon as they make it able to preorder it from EB I'll do it too, I can tell they'll be sold out. There was also an article from gamespot that said that even though PS3's specs were higher, Xbox will still be more powerful, and PS3 might be kinda slow like the PS2, which I hate.

They're supposedly releasing it around the same time as the PS3 to create more competition. Microsoft knows that Halo is it's heavy hitter and that would probably do more damage to Sony's sales than releasing the X-Box 360 at the same time as the PS3.
