i know many people who saw it at midnight and the rest of the people i know skipped school to go watch it. most of them got tickets months in advance. i have another friend who is going to san diego to watch it with his cousins and they had this planned a year in advance

what! everyone knew anakin was darth vader. thus the line "i am your father"

Now that you mention the line "I am your father" it reminds me of all the movies I watched that took that line too. Ex: Austin Power.

star wars was the original to use that line, and it was actually true in star wars, as in austin powers, where he ends up being his brother.

The movie was mediocre compared to the original three. It was better than the previous two. Overall, I had to say the acting and script-writing was bad. The action and plot development was good. The movie started off slow before picking up towards the middle. A so-so movie, not worth the hype it was given.

I heard on the radio that you can actually understand the whole movie even though you have never seen any of the other 5 starwars. I personally didn't really like the 3 old ones because I usually look for special effects in movie. The 3 new ones had pretty decent effects.

ya. for the most part you could understand the whole movie without actually having seen the other 5. BUT you would not be able to pick out the subtelties and previews of things from the first 3 that they had in this one.

The only thing is is that I KNOW George Lucas and either his daughter or his wife made a cameo appearance on the first senate scene I just could not find them. Anyone who's seen it been able to find them when you went to watch it?

Why in the world did you make the last 3 movies first???lol

The reason Lucas came out with 4,5, and 6 first, is because they didn't require as many special effects as 1,2, and 3 did. At first, he wasn't going to come out with the first three, but he started to run low on cash.

i saw it yesterday and by far the best yet. the special effects of the lasers, lightsabers, etc. was amazing.

btw if he was running low on cash, how could he afford these movies?
