Ethier way though, that 40% ED isnt helping much in an armor, its better off in a weapon but the IAS is no doubt nice.

And FYI on those who HAVENT do uber trist yet....And u find that ur hammer is godly and can take down anything...like in hell act 5 with 8 players...THINK again....itll be like 10x harder than act 5 hell 8 player....NNOO way it can solo...AND LIFE TAP IS GOING TO SAVE UR AS.5.

hoz is usless in uber trist. any fkin greif will do (i prefer pb, : ) a fkin coh armor, ber ber coa, verdungos, draculs, gores, raven spiral/ frost, cats eye. if u have that u should have no problem vs uber trist. ive officially solved all ur questions. now stfu and stop askin for smiter info

I think there are some great items out there for smiters that may be seriously underrated. for example, Treachery. Let's compare it to Duress.

[/size]Ok, it doesn't give CB and OW, I'll give you that, but it gives 45% IAS, which more than makes up for the CB and OW [which you dont need on armor, assuming your other items are good]. The 20% FHR is less than Duress, but Treachery is also cheaper. When the Fade Triggers (which is fairly common), you get..
Curse Duration Reduced by 79%.
Resist All +60%.
Physical resist [Damage reduced by] +15%.

Basically, once fade triggers, you are a huge tanking, life tapping (hopefully) smiter with (almost guaranteed) 6 frame smite. In some ways, I think Duress is better, and I still think fortitude is the best smiter armor, but Treachery is most definately something to look into.

Dude...Treachery is so awesome! I can't belive I never noticed it >_>

And its lvl 15 fade so it's gonna last a good while, so if you want to wear a different armor, you could just have fade kick in, then switch =3

Although that 45% IAS is hard to pass up... I managed to solo Hell Baal and his minions with no problem. Combined with Storm Lash or Asteron's, you'll be dishing out mad quick damage!

i think last wish and treachery would be a great combo... they would make for each other, like treachery doesn't hav cb, and last with has 60-70. then last wish doesn't hav ias, treachery has 45%!!!!

i think it would be a great combo with an exile and dracs too.

grief pb already gives u the fastest smite with ur fanat aura. and my smiter already has max resist and max dr.

EDIT: also the fade is 5% chance WHEN STRUCK. i dunno about u, but i dont get struck. :devilish: (atleast not enough for a 5% chance )

to get the 5% on struck faster just die (preferably by a human player..) then go out and get hit by somthing... roflmfao.
