But again, Silkweave has alot more +mana, but STreks have other great bonusus. I'd suggest you use one and keep the other in stash just in case you need it at some point.

Treks definately beats silkweave...More def more str more life more psn res....But its ur choice

as far as i can remember.. to decide which item to use for a shield i would count the better attributes
spirit: 55% fhr 35% fcr +2 to all skills around 100 to mana 22 to vitality and +45 to 3 resistances thats 6. now lets look at lidless +1 to all skills 20% fcr and 10% increased mana thats 3... 4 if you get a nice rune to place in it. spirit requires about 100 stat pts into str i think... but then again if you placed those pts into mana you would gain about 200 mana only anyway.. a nice spirit would give about 120 mana and 22 vitality, or 60+22=82 stat pts that you get back anyway. so you loose about 18 stat pts, or 36 mana. do you really need 36 more mana? im sure 2 small charms could help you with that.

Well the main thing is lidless = less power put more stat points to distribute (but this can be fixed by having charms on you)

Sprit pwnz lidless, if u think adding str is to much for using lidless in pvp. Stop being lazy and get 9 20 lifers along with the 9 gc's anni, torch. Life covoured from str gain. Gg
