Pierce still work?

there was a rumor a while back before i quit playing d2 that pierce wouldnt work with GA in 1.10 and up.. but i just started playing again not too long ago.. as you can see my posts have started to grow.. but was wonderin if this is true or not

Yup, Piercing a Guided arrow was determind to be cheap (100% pierce on a GA, OOOOOUUUCCCHHH) and underhanded. As well as freakin glitchy.

You really should play though. They've added synergies and helped to eliminate cooky cutters.

IE - Paladin CAN pump 20 in zeal, but each point in sacrifice will give him an extra 12% ED on zeal.
- Barbarian CAN max BO and only BO, but each point in every other warcray of the three ads +15 seconds.
- Sorceress CAN max BLizzard, Lightning AND meteor, but wont have high damage due to the massive synergies the afore-mentioned skills now recieve from higher points in skills you normally wouldn't get (Ice bolt? It adds the same 5% you would get from glacial spike or Ice Blast to blizzard damage).

The reason they added the synergies was to discourage the idea that too many points spent in 'uesless' skills would mess a character up. They've now turned the 'Useless' SKills into ESSENTIAL skills. The afore-mentioned sorceress would've owned any and all ppl in early patches, but now its like the annoying noob with a high level that preys on level 40-50 cahracters.

ga is only good in pvp and against bosses.. i wouldnt really use it in pvm, strafe would be better.

Depends. Strafe is better/Isn't better. I Reccommend a MA bowazon, they own on such a higher level, particularly once you get your 100% pierce. MA is serious croud contral. Strafe kinda sucks above level 15, as strafe can really take a while to get done throwing its arrows around.
