Finding High Rune

in here i just want ppl to tell where they find high rune, i know they r really rare but its could give a good idea where to find them.

mate, runes are hard to find. some places like countess etc can potentially drop better runes but it doesnt really matter where you hunt for them

I have seen ONE thing that seems to work for getting good runes.

Do hellforge, but before you even bother putting the stone down, REPAIR THE HAMMER!

I have tested this and maybe it was just really strange luck, but I was getting gul, ist, mal, pul, vex with a repaired hammer, and fal, eld, hel, io, lum with the non-repaired hammer.

Try it, it wont hurt to repair it.

High runes will drop most at bruns pindel. Verry rare on countess and cows (but there are many cows at one run ) and the countess drop every time rune

i found this, i dont know if its accurate in online playing but its say that hell trav run should be the best place to find high rune. ive done some n they dropd a rune every +/- 10 runs. highest was a lem, maybe i was lucky cauz other rune were : io, eld, shael etc.

(sorry if my english isnt perfect, i think i didnt write in eng for maybe 5 years.)

Just do some countess runs if you can because thats where i get my keys and i find at least 4 high runes a week (um/pul/ist/mal) I seem to do pretty well there

How the hell did you get that much difference in those runes? Hell Hellforge and you get an Eld?

Ok if u want high runes, like Vex-Zod the best places are hell trav and cows


Now if u just want pul-ist runes i will recommened hell for all the way.

I can (with mh) rush in classic a character from act 1 norm to act 4 nm in 20 minutes and in a nother 20 glitch to hell and hell forge rush.


Now problems with this.....only works with a friend and 2 cd-keys so a total of 3 cd-keys (1 hell forge for u each and on cd-key for the rusher) and then rush some guy for forge in hell (that makes 2 forges for u and 1 for ur friend.)


Personaly i can get ist a fair amount of the time concidering that u can get um pul on nm too

Hey that's impossible to get um pul vex and then el eld and stuff from the same difficulty forge. I can't remember exactly but I know the highest rune dropped on NM forge is Um. and yeah... it's not a trick or anything... when you do forge a rune always drops... its just not always what you wanted.

i though highest rune you could get from hell helforge was gul, and you said you got vex....

well i found an um rune on a baal run so i think they can appear anywhere, i found pul in glacial trail, most people say they found runes like Lo and Zod in Chaos so i don't know and i thought Gul was highest rune u could get on hell forge to....

Sorry mate, but this is a load of crap. You cannot get a Vex from normal Hellforge. In fact, You cannot get a Vex at all from Hellforge, even in Hell. The runes that drop from Hellforge are based on the difficulty level. In NM, up to Um can drop, down to as low as Io I think. In Hell, You can get from I think Lum to Gul. Gul is the highest rune that You can get from forge. In that difference Lum - Gul in Hell, all the runes have an exactly equal chance of dropping. And I don't think that repairing the Hammer plays a role. My highest personal find has been a Gul off a Fallen in the Den of Evil.

i think the highest rune you can get of the hell forge is ist.

And i have found the opposite to be true with repairing the hammer, th emore dmg it had, the better the rune seemed to be but this was probably just luck, I should go deul with the hammer before i get forge lol

you can get higher than um in a nm forge ive gotten ist numerous times

Yeah cows are the best place to find hrs. Open all the chests and check all the dead corpses in the cow level.

You sure? Sounds kinda wrong, because the highest that You can get in Hell is Gul (I've got it on various occasions), take my word for it. All the runes have an equal chance of dropping, therefore it would be unlikely that Blizzard would allow an Ist drop in Nm and only one rune higher in Hell. If You got an Ist from NM, then I wouldn't even bother with hellrushes, just go to NM and get an Ist from there...

That Gul that I got off a Fallen was in Single Player, a long time ago.

Um yes, numerous times in 1.10 ive gotten a ist in nm forges
my first 1.10 char got ist in nm and another ist in hell
