This is the sub-title for the flame wars section. If I post something in the flame wars section, I can expect to get flamed for it, actually, that's why the guy probably started it. You don't find it funny? Well he does, and that is quite often what flaming is like...

Oresama, You said that You banned Alcoholicflame because he was insulting admins, well, can admins not take part of flaming/be flamed? So You threaten him with a ban + flame him, because he flamed You... I haven't re-read the agreement, but I don't think that I read anywhere that You couldn't make fun of people losing their homes. i wasn't insulting anyone. i was flaming him. he banned the problem child already and one guy states his flamed opinion and offers him a ban. admins going around threatening to ban people for not doing anything wrong other than hurting his little feelings is not good for a forums longevity. if every person that makes a little insult (in a flame forum no less) gets banned... who's gonna want to join it? i agree what that original dude said was a little out of line, they warned him by deleting the thread, and he retaliated by all out verbal assault of the admins. so good show for banning him before he became a bigger problem, but don't start banning everyone else cuz they flame you a little. its bad buisiness.

Hey people. I was a Super Mod here for quite a while and hopefully I can put some insight into the confusion here. This is not a publicly owned website. It is privately owned. Therefore the rules of freedom of speech can be confusing. In a private online forum, the owner determines what is considered inappropriate. If you walk into Starbucks and start cursing out the manager you will get thrown out. If you come in here, even if you are in Flame Wars, and start cursing out the Administrator and other workers, you have a good possibility of being tossed.
It is ok to voice your opinions, but be professional about it. Personal insults to the likes of which our poor banned friend threw out there are not acceptable here. I understand frustration, but I also understand the side of the mods and admins.
If we can keep it reasonable, that includes in Flame Wars, then we can all co-exist. If you don't like someone, you can make them know that in Flame Wars. However disgraceful, discriminatory, and slandering language are not allowed here. Nor are any symbols that can infer racism or other hurtful symbols.
Keep it reasonable and everyone will be like the 60's hippies. Happy, having orgies, and seeing pretty colors. :eek: :wacky:
