Eth HOTO vs REG HOTO

Straight up: which one is worth more (eth hoto or reg hoto). It's obviously the eth hoto, but a bunch of noobs have been arguing against me on this one.

it reduces the str/dex req. it's not like ur hoto is going to lose durability neways (you shouldn't be whacking things with it)

awhile back alfzzz posted a price list showing that a norm hoto was worht 4 hi if perf resist. An eth hoto w/ perf resist was worth 10 high. Although the prices of hi runes has changed, they would still be proportional.

well the difficult u get the flail comes from doesnt matter so str and dex wont matter in the first place...so what makes an eth 1 higher exactly yes.interesting?

Hmm, not sure about you guys but on my Hammerdin I summon the level 4 Oak Sage off my Hoto but, if I had an Eth one I would'nt be able to get the charges back.. =/

Unforunately it doesnt work with eths, if you read on the arreat summit it gives the formula and then at the bottom it says (Ethereal items cannot be repaired).

Eth Has Less Requirement hence thats why there good fer using a eth hoto on a sorc u dont need to put dex on it....well if u dont want to put n e on dex

the eth is good because u can see through it, And.... That's really all unless u dont have an anni or Torch.... thent eth is good for req, The only reason to buy a perf resis non eth hoto vs a perf eth hoto... is if ur rich enuf to make urself look cool.

If you have an anni and a torch, it'll add at least 20 to attributes anyway. so it doesnt reeealllly matter if the one you use is eth or not, because you should be able to use a basic flail after those bonuses.

one thing tho, u dont need str for a flail found in norm, and if u do, ull need it ne ways for enigma or somthin.
