It automatically blacks it out. There is a solution to this, I'll try to find it tomorrow as I have to go now.
#4
try doing what chris said but when you pause so it will not black out.

Yes I know print screen key, and it does only get a black screen, if you can find out tomorrow would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You use a live linux cd/dvd unless you already have dual boot and take a screenshot in linux. That method always works using mPlayer.

http://pchere.blogspot.com/2005/03/captu...media.html scroll to the bottom for the solution

Stop the Black Vidcaps:
  • 1. Click Start button
    2. Select Settings
    3. Select Control Panel
    4. Double-click Display
    5. Select the Settings tab
    6. Click the Advanced button
    7. Click the Troubleshoot tab
    8. Click and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider all to the left to None
    9. Click the Apply button
    8. Click the OK button

Lemme know if that works

Iv tried to do this before with winamp, the funny thing is if you put the "black" part over the active video thats playing it seems to leak into paint and give you the "live" image of the video. its still black when you save it tho Sad
