Lol, I've seen nearly every Simpsons episode there is. I mean they only air it twice a night on Fox and air the new episodes on Sundays... So many reruns of it, it's kinda hard not to have seen them all.

Simpons isn't that great.. no offense of course, but it's getting old. Fg is much funnier in my opinion because it's comedy is raw and demented. This doesn't really affect whether or not I like FG mroe than the Simpsons, but Fg is supposed to take place in Rhode Island.. which is right below me. Where do the Simpsons live? Oh yeh.... Springfield... lol, but god forbid they tell us what state. I think that's kind of lame. Again... just my opinion.

How about the FG episode w/ William Shattner...i mean Shattner alone was funnier than pretty much all the simpsons episodes...lol peter was like "lets walk home in the rain bare foot" and shattners like "peter! you're crazy!....barefoot you say?" i mean shattner was funny as heck

when they say that simpsons takes place in Springfield, they purposely do not tell us what state, because it is supposed to be kinda like a 'Anytown,USA'. if you go to the site at the end of this post, its takes you to a page about the Simpsons Springfield.

ok here's the break down... in terms of regular over the top funny.... fg beats the hell out of the simpsons... but lets be real folks... simpsons is classic... yes things tend to get treary if your watching the same episode for the 3rd time that day... but they're every-day activities... i mean they've dealt with pretty much any situation ever encountered by any family in the history of family... and even ones that haven't been (kain/kodo).... but i think honestly.. if i had a choice between 2 hours of family guy..and 2 hours simpsons... i'd pick family guy...

Shatner, have u folks all forgotten bout the halloween episode with the monkeys paw, or when homer was sucked into the real world, and lets not get started with the one when they moved next to Max Scorpio................"I'm from Canada....they saaaaaaay im slooooooow.....ehhhhhhhhhhh?" u cant beat that.

the simpsons holloween episodes are the ones i enjoy the most because they offer something different than the typical simpsons episode, thats what fg is about, most of the stories are stupid and highly improbable to happen in real life but make great comedy, simpsons stories are to real for me like the recent one were homer switched seats with marge after they got into a drunk driving accident i could see that happening in real life, but in fg theres one episode(my favorite) where peter has a bird make a nest in his beard; not to mention all of the inside, political, and social jokes that appear at random

ROFL!! I loved that episode with the birds in Peter's beard. That was hilarious. *sigh* Can't wait til I comes back!

Also wanna add that I think the Simpsons living in Springfield (Anywhere, USA.) is lame. I don't like pointless mystery shite like that. For some reason, the peekaboo game you play with infants comes to mind when I think of it... Hmmm..

Well its because people like yourself are impatient and hate suspense The Simpsons, i guess, is for a crowd of people advanced beyond their years who can kick back and chuckle at American Society. Family Guy is for the brash, arrogant people who will only pay attention if EXTREME methods are used.

simpsons is on right now, ive only laughed once, and lisa has fallen in love with another handsome greenpeace freak which is all she does, this is about the 10th time ive seen this happen in a simpsons episode, how predictable

Well its not your cup of tea Gaccet...If you didn't grow up in such an angry and impatient society, like we all have, then maybe you could appreciate the Simpsons for what it truly is, and just understand why the show isn't constantly trying to make you laugh, but rather add more artistic qualities to it.

Exactly, the impatient younger generations are corrupting and degrading American Society at the same time. And Family Guy is the forefront forefront for people to weaken their minds and allow to develop hatred for a pure show like the Simpsons
