some things are a classic. these things can never be replaced no matter what you throw their way. lets take godzilla for example. look at what those asians did, created a whole new monster that can wreck havoc on the world, eventually leading birth to king kong. in video games, pong can be looked at as a classic, as well as pac-man. these are all things that had their new, brilliant original idea, and therefore changed the shape of the world around it. i believe that simpsons was one of these 'classics' that entered the world, and created a whole new genre of animated television comedies. this is why i believe that simpsons is a better show than family guy, it is simply a classic that can never be replaced no matter what society throws at its way, it is just too true to our crazy mixed up world that we call earth and live in today. thank you for your time, and yes, i approve of this message.
