i like u trogdor, u always argue the point never attacking another personally, u would make an excellent politician, no offense intended if u find being compared to a politician offensive
but i usually can determine the outcome like the recent new one with skinner getting marreid to crobopple, he screws it up, she finds another, but to make him suffer, then the sort of make up in the end, ive seen this formula before

I've heard politician too. I like to speak in school and what not so we shall see  And did you ever see an episode like the Simpsons one where they copied Lord of the Flies, or the Poltergeist, or even The Shining. They did it so well and nothing like that had ever been done, so the predictablity of those episodes, especially since they did not stay in context with the actual writings, couldn't have been good.

So can we just come to the conclusion that ther both quallity shows, who cares there on at different times (well at least in Australia), and there both good so watch them both.

ive seen those movies and they stayed prety close for most of the episode, also the key word u said was copy which leads to predictability, just because maybe the ending was different doesnt mean that the whole episode was unpredictable, look at it from a percentage standpoint, 50.1% is a majority and therefore is susecptible to generalization, these examples were more than 50.1% similar and therefore predictable
as for politics i like to argue (as if u havnt noticed) but i dont like public speaking not that i cant do it, but (recently) my speech class professor has said i have great info and organization but that i lack emotion when i speak which can be a problem, but it doesnt seem to have stopped Gore nor Kerry :p

Right about Gore, wrong about Kerry. He is a motivational speaker. I am very eccentric when I speak, so I definately can catch the attention of a crowd. However, this only happens when I am interested in the conversation, if not I am just as bored and boring as anyone out there.

a new argument, kerry is defintly boring, but for what i care about, i mostly disagree with his politics more than care about his personality, he has no pazaz (not sure if i splled that right) he actually sounds like me when i talk, monotone and unenthusiastic, after taking a speech class i definetly have more of an understanding of this

True, I probably was thinking of Howard Dean when I made my comments. I haven't listened to many of Kerry's speaches because I completely disagree with his position.

i disagree with him but i watch and read both sides so as to stay educated on both positions, it helps to know the enemy to combat the enemy, and knowlecge is power
i just gotta say....Monty Python and the holy grail is a kick a-s-s movie.

I wouldn't call six votes a commanding lead. Especially considering how many members have yet to contribute to this thread. The Simpsons always averages out ahead. You just need enough people voting.

By the way, I looked at the forum statistics and there are 2,000 members. So if 34 out of 2000 people have voted, I wouldn't quite call that a fair representation of this forum.

but yet our society polls 1,000 people from our pop out of 286mil and thats a fair representation, i say were actually doing better, not to mention that many of the members dont even post, check the member list ull see 0 posts for most

Gaccet, who is going to poll 280 million people. If we were to do something like that, it would takes centuries upon centuries. 1000 people is a set number, probably on the lower end of the spectrum for important polls, but its enough people.
